Delete partitions on the website (CRAFT CMS - YII framework)

There is such CRAFT CMS written on YII. It is a multi-page website. Some sections are already outdated, when the standard uninstall from the admin panel (move the slider to "inactive" ) nothing happens, the section is displayed in the menu and accessible at a URL. Either a bug somewhere or it is not clear how to confirm actions in the admin or something.
