To complete the project on CodeIgniter

There is an old project, something like an online store for CodeIngiter version 1.6 and there are a few of the tasks of the intensive care unit.
1) Run on the server the current version (now on some pages 404 or No input files specified that frequent problems for CodeIngiter)
2) upgrade to CodeIngiter 3 and newer PHP versions, correcting additional errors.
3) Next will be the task of finalizing the draft.
