Train with MySQL database

There is a database in MySQL format (the total size of the database is about 10 GB). I need to make selections from this database:
by city/street.
Since such samples will have to be done often, I myself want to learn how to do them. I have experience with databases at an entry level, but I dont have enough skills for this task. What I tried:
1) Import the database to the local xampp server via phpmyadmin - the import just hangs and does not go further.
2) Tried to open the database through the application mysql workbench, DB. Browser.for.SQLite, Toad_for_SQL_Server - everywhere the import was not received (while the database is correct and the site works on it).

Algorithm of work:
1. I throw you the database and write examples of requests that will need to be made (3 requests in total)
2. You do it at home
3. You throw me what software I need to install and make a plan for our online call
4. I install the software
5. Calling in Zoom/Discord
6. Show the basic functions of the program and how to make the necessary requests.
For all the work, I assume, it will take you no more than 2 hours.

- your pre-teaching abilities (in this case, it is important that you are able to explain) - perhaps you recorded some training videos or taught.
