To resolve the issue with the sagging response time of the website

Is there a website on samopisnom script (php/mysql). Hosted on a regular virtual hosting.

Attendance of about 800 unique visitors/day. Up to 2000 hits/day.

On the website there is nothing heavy. This is a fairly simple page with js/css. and a small image of hundreds of KB. Plus The Iframe.

Throughout the day personally several times trying to get through to the site - you have to wait up to 30 seconds until the reply. I go to the site a couple of dozen times from them 1-2 times catch the train.

In addition to this site I have next is WordPress. In the neighboring domain. He is also not responding. Hes got 50 uniques per day, it is doubtful that this is his work.

The challenge is to either catch the problem in the scripts of the website and suggest how to solve it. Or to perform load - and say in what direction to expand hosting/VPS/dedicated etc.

Hosting technical support (Ukraine) moves the shoulder and nods in the direction of the script. Supposedly analyze and optimize. We cant tell.
